The aim of this Supplementary Final Report is to evaluate the impact of combat-related injury on the psychosocial, mental and physical health status of the patient sample. In fulfilment of that aim, the objectives are as follows. Objective 1: To examine how psychosocial, mental and physical health status varies in the patient sample according to: (i) personal and military demographics; (ii) military deployment factors (including in-theatre combat experiences, perception of comradeship and leadership, and problems at home pre- and post-deployment); (iii) exposure to traumatic events (military and civilian); (iv) severity of combat-related injury, and (v) perceived military and social support. Objective 2: To identify predictive factors associated with psychosocial, mental and physical health outcomes. Objective 3: To consider the key findings within the overall context of those presented in the Headley Court Trust Project Final Report (Alexander, Klein & Forbes, 2013). Objective 4: To compare the key findings with the KCMHR published normative data pertaining to UKAF military personnel who have been deployed on recent operations. Objective 5: To compare the key findings with the published normative data pertaining to trauma-related exposure and impact in the UK general population.
